Cutting teeth

Another milestone yesterday…Kai’s first molars appeared! Four peaks “erupting” through the gums on both sides of his lower jaw. Cute little things but I’m sure Kai doesn’t agree considering the pain that comes with them. His 101 F degree fever this past week makes sense now – a temperature is a common symptom of new teeth according to the baby books.  Click the image above to see a nifty little flash animation showing the stages of tooth development.
